Prepares the Code-15 report and submit in the absence of the Director. Prepares FDA report and submit in the absence of the Director.Schedules ad hoc meetings as needed to gather data and information for report submission.Provides feedback to the involved department action plans based on findings.Initiates investigation, fact gathering to determine reporting obligations.PROVIDES RELEVANT UPDATES TO DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR. NOTIFIES DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR OF ANY EVENT THAT MEETS CRITERIA FOR EXTERNAL REPORTING. Coordinates list of new physicians for FPPE review, screen records and notify the department chairman for further record review.Schedule and invite physicians to attend meetings per committee’s request.ĬOORDINATES FPPE WITH THE MEDICAL STAFF OFFICE TO COMPLETE CREDENTIALING PROCESS AND CERTIFY THE MEDICAL STAFF RE-APPOINTMENTS. Prepares committees minutes, agendas, for the meeting, review with Chairman for approval.Įnsures confidentiality is maintained during the process. Schedules monthly MSPI meetings and schedule special sessions as directed by the committee chairman. *Establish a professional relationship with the committee members and communicate effectively with all members. ORGANIZES THE MEDICAL STAFF PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE: Prepares agenda for MSPI meeting and discuss the cases and agenda with chairman of the MSPI. Notifies the Vice Chief of findings that meets criteria for case presentation in MSPI.
